New Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable mandated Dragados Canada Inc., Roxboro Excavation Inc. and Construction Demathieu & Bard Inc. as a consortium (called Groupe Nouveau Pont Île-aux-Tourtes), to construct the new Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge. This project includes the construction of the new bridge and the reconstruction of the portion of Highway 40 leading to it. The entire project spans 4.5 km and includes several phases of work, the last of which is the deconstruction of the original bridge, which is expected to be completed in 2029.

A structure of this scale, which is a major traffic axis linking Vaudreuil-Dorion to the Island of Montréal, has significant repercussions on road and maritime mobility. In this context, Intervia was mandated to manage mobility as well as carry out traffic studies and transport planning during the various phases of the project.
