New Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable mandated Dragados Canada Inc., Roxboro Excavation Inc. and Construction Demathieu & Bard Inc. as a consortium (named Groupe Nouveau Pont Île-aux-Tourtes), to deliver the new Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge. The project includes construction of the new bridge and the rehabilitation of the portion of Highway 40 leading to it. Spanning 4.5 km in total, the project comprises several phases of work, with the final phase, deconstruction of the original bridge, expected to conclude in 2029.

A structure of this scale, forming a major corridor linking Vaudreuil-Dorion to the Island of Montréal, has significant impacts on both road and marine mobility. In this context, Intervia was engaged to manage mobility and to carry out traffic studies and transportation planning throughout the various construction phases.
